How to measure
To measure your head the easiest thing to use is a flexible tailor’s tape measure. You can also use a string or the charging cable for your phone if you don’t have one available.
To ensure you measure the circumference of your head correctly, the tape measure needs to be over the middle of your forehead, just above your ears and sit midway at the back of your head. Use the measurement in inches and the chart to determine your hat size.

These are my favorite hats. I hope they continue to be available.
I ordered the wool crusher hat for hunting. I had been looking for this hat for some time. I found a few others but price was prohibitive.
When I saw the hat it brought back memories. This was “standard” wear growing up in Oregon and I really missed the availability. There once was a time when this was the only hat “respectable” hunters wore and usually wore it year round. This is one hat that can’t be replaced.
Advantages: High vizability for hunting
Get it wet and shape and/or fit
Keeps your head warm and dry on those cold days
“Classic” look
Doesn’t make noise in the brush
Full brim, protects eyes, ears, and neck
Comfortable to wear or stick in your pocket
Felt will hold a two month supply of dry flies, wets, nymphs, and streamers also
Disadvantages: A little heavy when wet

Love this hat. Perfect for cool days walking the dogs, yard chores or heading to town. You will definitely get noticed. Soft, not itchy. Fold it up and stick it in your back pocket. Will be getting one in black.
That fit is spot on and the color ( Blaze Orange ) is just what I needed for hunting safety. However the band around the outside of the hat is more of a hot pink color, not exactly what I would call color coordinated. I will change it to a more appropriate matching or contrasting color in the near future.

Arrived rolled up…not an issue if a true crusher…but no support on the rim means wont hold shape at all.. quite displeased with the quality. I’m used to Scala crushables. This one is 10% of the quality.
Had this hat when I was younger — always wanted another one! So happy to find it and the service was great.
I shaped mine with some hat stiffener, and it fits perfectly.
Hat fit true to size. I have a big noggin, so I got the 3xl. I get at least 1-2 compliments every time I wear it out. 🙂
