These instruments have always been exceedingly nice items. This is my second one. The first one I purchased was the 7.5" brass tubular variety over 20 years ago...it's still in use and still accurate. Thanks H.N. Williams, for carrying on a quality tradition.
Advantages: Easy to read, superb quality, and having the hygrometer is just a fun extra. All at a fair price. You won't find anything close in your typical hardware store!
Disadvantages: None.
